I can't believe it is almost the end of October! Our trip to Drumlin Farm on Friday was great! We had a wonderful time seeing the different animals that live on the farm and exploring the surrounding nature.
At the end of this month, a costume parade is being planned for the boys and girls. More details will follow on day and times of the parade.
Wednesday, October 19th is picture day! If the boys and girls plan to have their pictures taken that day please send in their envelopes with choice of background.
Notices will be coming home in regards to parent conferences with their child's reading teacher on Thursday, December 1st. Please choose a time that is convenient for you. Teachers will try to accommodate around your schedules.
Mrs. Lamprey, the English Language Learners teacher, and I are working together in the afternoons to teach and talk about our different cultures. We would love to have parents volunteer to come in to read to the students and share more about their cultures and traditions. The times that we meet in afternoons are from 12:45pm - 1:30pm. If you are interested and available, please send me an e-mail and we can coordinate a day and time for you to come in and read to the students.
Here are some pictures from Drumlin Farm, Enjoy!
